This truly luxurious sock is made with Peruvian baby alpaca yarn with some nylon reinforcement to provide longer wear. Baby Alpaca yarn is soft, supple and smooth containing microscopic air pockets which are perfect for retaining feet warmth. This sock is not recommended for high abrasion use such as in work boots. A warm, medium-weight, business sock made with 95% wool, reinforced in the heel and toe with 3% nylon for longer wear and 2% elastane providing more stretch for a comfortable fit. The high wool content of the sock makes it warm and comfortable to wear. The over-the-calf leg length of 45cm means the sock comes to just below the knee, providing greater warmth and ensuring there is never an unsightly bare leg between the top of the sock and the cuff of the trousers.

This sock is made with fine merino wool that will not prickle or itch and has the Health Sock® 'no tight elastic' top, meaning that the sock stays up without restricting the wearer's blood circulation, and does not leave the deep indentation on the child's leg typical of cheap cotton children's socks. The sock also has CoolMax® padded soles and heels for comfort and durability, and nylon reinforced heel and toe.
